Abstract

Abstract

The objective of this research is to make a diagnosis of the overall efficiency of the Administración

Nacional de Puertos (ANP) compared with Porto de Santos’ results on how to profit with their

available assets, return on investment, and analyzing future prospects through Modified DuPont analysis system. The work is justified due to the high competitiveness of the port logistics system in the international market. This research is characterized, in it’s nature, as an applied research. From the point of view of your objectives, it can be considered explanatory, related to the technical procedures used, is a correlational research. It was demonstrated by the results obtained through the analysis DuPont that is possible to identify strengths and weaknesses of an organization, and with them, build a SWOT matrix.
